Renowned Pitmaster Miguel Vidal and El Jefe Oscar Juarez are teaming up to bring back the bold, authentic flavors of Tejano-style BBQ to South Austin and the Manchaca area.
Oscar first met Miguel, owner of Valentina's Tex Mex BBQ, 10 years ago when their food trailers were located off Manchaca. Oscar frequently helped Miguel with smoker repairs, new builds, fire pits, and more. The two quickly became great friends, more like familia. Living just a few miles from the Manchaca location, Oscar often welcomed Miguel, who would swing by with BBQ for his family. Whether it was tackling a project, fixing an issue, or simply catching up, they always found time to connect. After years of supporting each other, they're now teaming up to bring, "La Familia O.G. Tex-Mex BBQ".
